Recipe for pour over coffee
Ingredients
30 grams of quality whole bean coffee
Water
Steps
1 - Bring about 600g of water up to a boil in preferably a goose neck kettle
2 - Grind your coffee to about a medium grind
3 - Add a paper filter to your brewing device
4 - Pour boiling water over the filter to rinse it. This will also pre-heat your pour over device. Also consider pre heating your cup as well at this step
5 - Remove water used for pre-heating
6 - Start with 50g of water to bloom - let bloom for 60 seconds
7 - Do three 100g pours - do not rush the process. Do not over fill the device. Go slow and let the device drain of water before starting the next 100g pour.
